Ken Jacobs
Broker/Owner
My Background:
I first moved to Walnut
Creek in 1993 after growing up in New Orleans and attending Louisiana State
University. Prior to beginning my real estate career in 1997, I was the
General Manager at Ruth's Chris Steak House in San Francisco, and had been in
the restaurant business for over 10 years. I was married in 2002 and
currently reside in Walnut Creek with my wife, son, and three very lively dogs.
I began in real estate in 1998 , started out as an associate realtor with
Security Pacific Real Estate in Walnut Creek, and went on to obtain my broker's
license in 2002. My goal is to provide only the best service and advice to
my clients, while handling
all aspects of the transaction. My clients are always my top priority,
and I am committed to achieving the highest levels of service.
I have based by business
on the following principles:
Communication:
Making sure you have all the information you need to make
the best decisions. I return phone calls and e-mails promptly. I’m committed to
staying in touch throughout the sale process.
Honesty:
You will never wonder what my
agenda is. My only goal is to insure your satisfaction in the handling of your
transaction, and in giving you the best advice on all aspects of real estate,
even if that means not making the sale.
Hard Working:
I'm committed to getting the
task done & doing it well. My business is referral based, and I want your
future business and referrals. I believe in doing what it takes to
become your real estate professional for life.
Experience:
I personally average close to $15 million in
annual sales. I have CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), GRI
(Graduate, Realtor Institute) , and e-Pro designations, which only
about 4% of all real estate agents have. The designations indicate that I
have completed over 100 hours of real estate courses ranging from marketing
properties, to financing, contracts and internet proficiency. In my
career, I have represented buyers or sellers in the sale of over 250 homes.

Sutherland
Broker Associate

My
Background:
I am a Bay Area Native, born at Oakland Children’s hospital
and raised in Danville and Walnut Creek. I attended local
schools graduating from: Contra Costa Christian High School in
Walnut Creek, Diablo Valley College and University of California
in Los Angeles. Prior to starting my real estate career in
1998, my wife (Kristen) and I, started, owned and operated
Nature’s Nectar (a juice and smoothie bar) in Boulder,
Colorado. I learned a lot about life, business and fruit during
those five years (Boulder is known as the Berkeley of the
Rockies). I started my real estate career built upon the things
that made my previous business a success; hard work, integrity,
and truly serving others. My efforts have paid off and I’ve
consistently been in the top level of agents in my offices. I
am always striving to grow and learn to better serve my clients
and friends.
Personal:
I have been happily married to my
wife for 13 years! She was my partner in my previous business
and we still work side by side as she now does the bookkeeping
for Clocktower Associates. We have two exuberant little boys,
Logan and Cooper (four & five years old). I may be biased, but
I think they are about the most brilliant kids I’ve ever met.
When I am not working I am usually trying to keep one step ahead
of them
Interests:
Active on Leadership committee of 20/30's Group @ Church, Avid Fly-fisher and
Outdoorsman, Mountain Biking, Real Estate Investing.
